Wheel caster's maintenance
Caster's maintenance is really important to its service life. In order to keep casters long time normal working.There are some maintenance tips we need to notice:
1.avoid improper operating and overloading
2.Handle with care when cargoes are very heavy
3.Reduce traveling speed on rough road
4.Overloading and impact may lead to bracket distorted,which will cause equipment tilt and weight will be pressed unevenly to other wheels and damaged wheels. So checking bracket and its fastener periodically is necessary.
5.Coat grease on bearing periodically to keep it smooth rolling.Under normal circumstances, coat grease on bearing every six month
6.See your wheel abrasion degree by visual check. If wheel can't roll smoothly,it will be to do with thread and other scraps.Thread guard can solve this problem.
7.When changing wheels,axles must be fastened by gasket and screw nut, because axles loose will cause bracket and wheel stuck and abrasive.
8.Stock some replaceable wheels and bearings in case of loss by production halts.
9.If wheels can't rotate freely,check ball bearing having scraps or not is needed.
10.No distort bracket for fixed caster.
